This is a wide cigar-band style setting that measures 1/2 inch all around. In the center is a very dark purple cabochon cut amethyst set off with sterling silver bead work. The stone measures 9 x 10 mm and is close to 2 ct. of perfection. This ring is strong and makes a statement of competence and credibility. This ring required considerable effort on the part of the designer, which cannot be duplicated today. The ring is a size 8.5 and can be resized by a competent jeweler.
