This necklace with matching earrings features superb hand inlay work. The necklace measures approximately 19 inches and has 7 stations of inlaid sterling silver. The rope part of the necklace alternates between Turquoise and what appears to be either Ivory or Mother of Pearl flat connectors. The earrings measure approximately ½ inch and are suspended from a simple french wire for pierced ears. This is a very, very old set of jewelry, made in Mexico, and obviously hand-crafted. It is a delicate use of turquoise in a suite that makes a powerful statement.
